Doobie Brothers

Doobie Brothers at Scotiabank Saddledome

Why see Doobie Brothers?

Over 50 Years With The Doobie Brothers

For over five decades, blue-eyed soul and soft rockers The Doobie Brothers have been part of the fabric of American music. Blending rock, R&B, country, and a laid-back boogie groove, they’ve built a sound that never really goes out of style. Over the years, they’ve picked up multiple Grammys and earned a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but what really stands out is their staying power. Decades in, they’re still a working band, still touring, and still connecting with audiences old and new! Don't miss them on a stage near you!

Since forming in the early ’70s, the band has gone through different eras and line-ups, bringing in standout talents like Michael McDonald, whose vocals helped shape some of their biggest hits, and guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. Through it all, they’ve never stayed in one lane for too long, moving easily between guitar-driven rock and smoother, groove-led tracks like Listen to the Music, China Grove, Long Train Runnin' and What a Fool Believes.

Outsanding evening w the Doobie Brothers in Calgary Oct 25, 2023

How many bands are this deep in talent? The level of musicianship, the quality of the vocals, how tight they are, absolutely amazing! Their voicdes are even richer now than the 1970's I was a student in university in mid 1970's & could not get enough of them. No cell phones/ no play lists, just listened to the radio or saw TV concerts. The vibe last night was just as magical. Eclectic that they closed w a Steely Dan jam session....... they are true artists that are still having fun in their 70's & attracting new fans ! ... Read more
